The OSPRA Team is committed to supporting the research and funding activities of the university. We provide resources, training, and regulatory expertise to ensure compliance and success from Pre-Award to Post-Award oversight.

Welcome to OSPRA

The Office for Sponsored Programs and Research Activities is responsible for overseeing university-wide grant and funding regulatory compliance.

OSPRA helps faculty, staff, and PIs secure external funding for research, scholarship, and academic programs. We manage government grants, sub-awards, contracts, and memorandums of understanding.
Our team reviews material transfer agreements to ensure compliance and clarity. We collaborate with industry, non-profits, and elected officials to support UD Mercy’s mission.

OSPRA is your one-stop resource for negotiating, facilitating, and managing sponsored projects and external partnerships.
