Welcome to OSPRA

The Office for Sponsored Programs and Research Activities is responsible for overseeing university-wide grant and funding regulatory compliance.

The Office of Sponsored Programs and Research Activities (OSPRA) assists faculty, staff, and principal investigators (PIs) wishing to advance their research, scholarship, and other programs with funding from an external sponsor. OSPRA processes all government grants, sub-awards, contracts, and memorandums of understanding.  We also review material transfer agreements and work with industry, non-profit, and elected officials to advance UD Mercy’s mission.

A sponsor is an entity that funds a project focusing on research, training, or other activity that expands the financial and in-kind resources available to the University. OSPRA is your one-stop shop, helping you negotiate, facilitate, and manage grants and relationships with external partners.
