Annual Scholarly Research and Publication Symposium
Celebration of Scholarly Achievement & Community Engagement (CSACE) is a University-wide event featuring research posters, artistic displays, performances, lightning talks and much more. This event is an opportunity to be recognized for the hard work throughout the academic year and to learn about and support the research and achievements of fellow colleagues and students.
All students, staff and faculty from all disciplines are encouraged to register for an opportunity to display or present their academic achievements, scholarly research and publications, community service, artistic creations and talents.
Spring 2025 Event: Celebration of Scholarship, Publications, Posters, Research Presentations, Community Service, and Engagement
At the University of Detroit Mercy, we continue to foster a culture that supports and celebrates scholarly and creative activity. We deeply value the contributions made by faculty, students, and staff across all campuses. Engaging students in research nurtures their intellectual curiosity and stimulates meaningful discussion, debate, and discovery. Research also provides students the opportunity to deepen their understanding of their chosen disciplines and contribute to the broader body of knowledge.
Our tradition of celebrating Faculty Authors began in March 2006 and has since evolved to include oral presentations, panels, posters, publications, and creative works across various media. The 2024 Celebration of Scholarly Activity was a tremendous success, and we are excited to plan the 2025 event, which will feature the return of presentations and posters focused on community-engaged learning and service.
This event highlights the collaboration between faculty, schools, colleges, and both graduate and undergraduate students. We look forward to another inspiring and informative series of events, and we hope you enjoy this year’s celebration.
